For example, 1,2-Epoxycyclododecane can prepare (E)-2-cyclododecen-1-ol in the solvent of Tetrahydrofuran using the reagents of diisopropylamine, butyllithium, and potassium tert-butoxide at the temperature of -50 ℃ for 80 hours. The yield is up to 68%.
