 4,5,6,7-Tetrachlorophthalide (CAS NO.27355-22-2) is an anti-blast protective fungicides.When use it, spray before bacteria invade rice plants , and It can effectively inhibit spore attaching to the surface of rice plants to prevent the hyphae penetrated, so it has a good control effect.

4,5,6,7-Tetrachlorophthalide Production

Mix 100g 3,4,5,6-α,α,α',α'-8 Chloro-o-xylene with 900g 95%  sulfuric acid , after mix it up to 130 ~ 140 °C, heat it for 5h until the non-hydrogen chloride gas escape , cold it to room temperature, and then slowly poured into ice water, precipitation of light yellow crystal, leaching, washing, drying ,obtain about 70g 4,5,6,7-Tetrachlorophthalide (CAS NO.27355-22-2).
