The reactions of 1-fluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene with both enantiomers of the α-amino acids alanine (2a), methionine (2b), valine (2c), leucine (2d), tyrosine (2e), phenylalanine (2f), and tryptophan (2g) were studied in the presence of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD).
