- Preparation method of methyldimethoxysilane
-
The invention relates to a preparation method of methyldimethoxysilane and belongs to the technical field of silane crosslinking agent preparation. The preparation method comprises the steps: carryingout cracking chain scission and transesterification on 1,3,5,7-tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane and trimethyl orthoformate under the condition that a certain temperature, a catalyst and an initiator exist to obtain methyldimethoxysilane, and meanwhile, adding a stabilizer in a reaction process to inhibit a disproportionated reaction; and then, carrying out normal-pressure distillation, and collecting fractions with the temperature of 60-61 DEG C to obtain a methyldimethoxysilane product with the content being 99.5% or above. If the preparation method is used for preparing methyldimethoxysilane, the preparation method is simple in process, low in equipment requirement, high in efficiency and free of corrosive substances, high-boiling residues and free chlorines so as to be a safe and environment-friendly production method.

- Synthesis and properties of functionalized alkylalkoxysilanes
-
A method of chloroalkylalkoxysilanes synthesis scalable to pilot production has been proposed. Morpholinotrialkoxysilanes have been prepared and studied as vulcanizing agents for low-molecular silicone rubbers. The reaction of N-morpholinomethyltrialkoxysilanes with triethanolamine has afforded N-[(silatranyl)-methyl]morpholine; it has been studied by X-ray analysis.

- METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF ALKOXYSILANES HAVING REDUCED HALIDE CONTENT
-
Disclosed is a method for lowering the residual halide content in alkoxysilanes. The method comprises contacting the alkoxysilane having residual halide content with activated carbon followed by separation of the alkoxysilane. The resultant materials are useful as intermediates for the preparation of other chemical compounds and for use in electronics applications.

- Process for the direct synthesis of trialkoxysilane
-
The Direct Synthesis of trialkoxysilane is carried out by conducting the Direct Synthesis reaction of silicon and alcohol, optionally in solvent, in the presence of a catalytically effective amount of Direct Synthesis catalyst and an effective catalyst-promoting amount of Direct Synthesis catalyst promoter, said promoter being an organic or inorganic compound possessing at least one phosphorus-oxygen bond.

- Direct synthesis of methyldimethoxysilane from metallic silicon and methanol using copper(I) chloride catalyst
-
When the reaction of metallic silicon with methanol in the presence of a small amount of thiophene was carried out at 653 K, methyldimethoxysilane was formed together with trimethoxysilane and tetramethoxysilane, the selectivity for methyldimethoxysilane being 22%. Further adding a small amount of trioxane, trimer of formaldehyde, to the reaction system improved the selectivity for methyldimethoxysilane. This indicates that formaldehyde formed by the dehydrogenation of methanol takes part in methyldimethoxysilane formation. The reaction of silicon with ethanol also gave a 14% selectivity of ethyldiethoxysilane with a 43% silicon conversion.
