INVESTIGATIONS IN THE REGION OF LIPIDS. SYNTHESIS OF PHOSPHATIDYLGLYCEROL AND DIPHOSPHATIDYLGLYCEROL
The synthesis of phosphatidylglycerol and diphosphatidylglycerol with the natural structures was realized on the basis of the condensation of phosphatidic acid with 2-O-benzylglycerol in the presence of 2,4,6-triisopropylbenzenesulfonyl chloride.Subsequent chromatographic separation of the benzylated derivatives of polyglycerophospholipids and removal of the benzyl groups under the conditions of catalytic hydrogenolysis led to the desired compounds phosphatidylglycerol and diphosphatidilglycerol.
