- Synthesis and photoproperties of Eu(III)-bearing star polymers as luminescent materials
-
Water-soluble luminescent material was developed by introducing europium (Eu(III)) ions into the core of a star polymer. Living radical polymerization was used to obtain the star polymer. The strategy to introduce Eu(III) ions into the star polymer was st

- Method for synthesizing novel fluoride-free organic phosphine ligand modified by carbonate ester
-
The invention relates to the field of organic synthesis, and provides a method for synthesizing a novel fluoride-free organic phosphine ligand modified by carbonate ester. According the synthesis method, p-bromostyrene or derivatives of the p-bromostyrene are adopted as raw materials for preparing a Grignard reagent which reacts with a phosphorus source to produce a skeleton-structure molecule with triphenylphosphine, and after oxidation, epoxidation, cycloaddition, reduction are conducted, the target molecular structure can be obtained. The synthesis method has the advantages that by synthesizing the novel organic CO2-soluable phosphine ligand, the solubility of the phosphine ligand in supercritical CO2 is improved, so that the application of fluoride-free phosphine ligand- organo-metallic catalysts in the supercritical CO2 is realized; besides, due to the property that the organic carbonate ester compound is insoluble in weak or non-polar organic solvent, such as an alkane compound, the fluorine-free phosphine ligand modified by the carbonate group is provided with a function of phase separation in a reaction system so that the recovery and reuse of the catalysts can be achieved.

- Palladium-catalyzed air-based oxidative coupling of arylboronic acids with H-phosphine oxides leading to aryl phosphine oxides
-
We present a novel and highly efficient methodology that allows for the construction of C-P bonds via the palladium-catalyzed air-based oxidative coupling of various commercially available arylboronic acids with easily oxidized H-phosphine oxides leading to valuable aryl phosphine oxides, particularly triarylphosphine oxides, with the use of air as the green oxidant, broad substrate applicability and good to excellent yields. The described catalytic system should be an efficient complement to the Chan-Lam type reaction and be useful in synthetic programs. This journal is the Partner Organisations 2014.

Chelated tethering ligands were confined on a Au(111) substrate, and the confinement of the ligands was confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Palladium was anchored to the ligands to construct heterogeneous (Pd)-L-Au(111) catalysts (L = lig

- Manganese(II) complexes containing polystyryl Diphenylphosphine oxide as ligand and their reactivity with sulfur dioxide
-
The ligand polystyryl diphenylphosphine oxide (L) and several manganese(II) complexes with empirical formulae MnLmX2·nH2O and MnLmSO4·3H2O (m = 2, 3; n=1-4; X=Cl, Br, I, NCS, NO3) have been synthesised and characterised. The absorption of sulfur dioxide by these complexes has been examined in the solid state, at room temperature and in the 230-30 °C temperature range, and also in SO2-saturated toluene suspensions. After the interaction between sulfur dioxide and metallic complexes some air-stable SO2 adducts of accurate formulae could be isolated. Nitrate complexes appear to exhibit distinct behaviour due to an additional reaction with SO2; viz. nitrate ions appear to be replaced by sulfate ions in the SO2 adducts. Sulfur dioxide desorption was studied for SO2 adducts by heating at 16O °C under reduced pressure for 1 h or at 300 °C for about 15 min at atmospheric pressure. Acta Chemica Scandinavica 1997.
