Materials Science–Poland (ISSN 0137–1339) is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to experimental and theoretical research on the synthesis, structure, properties and applications of materials. Particular interest is placed on materials having relevance to microelectronics, photonics and micromachining.

In the 2009 edition of the Journals Citation Reports® Science Edition – a Thomson Reuters product, Materials Science–Poland is listed as having an Impact Factor of 0.384 (while its 5 Year Impact Factor is 0.382).

The broad spectrum of topics addressed by the journal reflects the highly interdisciplinary nature of modern materials science. Papers covering physicochemical aspects of the fabrication and characterization of materials, as well as their properties and potential applications, are especially welcome.

Materials Science–Poland is published by Wroc?aw University of Technology with scientific support of the Centre for Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology.
