Chemical Engineering Research and Design (ChERD)
Official Journal of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering: Part A
Chemical Engineering Research and Design (ChERD) aims to be the principal vehicle for publication of high quality, original papers in chemical engineering.
Already a leading international journal in its field, ChERD became the official journal of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) in January 2003. ChERD publishes regular special issues on topics identified as being topical, emerging or fast-moving. ChERD also regularly dedicates issues to major international conferences, publishing selected papers.
ChERD covers design and research into all aspects of experimental work, development and theory in chemical engineering. Papers that clearly demonstrate how the results of research may be used in chemical engineering design are published. Reports come from both industry and research establishments. The core topic areas covered are:
distillation and absorption
fluid flow
heat and mass transfer
materials processing and product development
oil and natural gas production
particle technology
process systems engineering
reaction engineering
separation processes
Audience
International academic and industrial researchers involved in all aspects of chemical and process engineering.
