 Particle Measuring Systems
  • Particle Measuring Systems
  • Particle Measuring Systems was established in 1972 by Dr. Robert Knollenberg to make available state-of-the-art technology to solve difficult particulate measuring problems. Today, Particle Measuring Systems particle counting systems are sold worldwide to many diverse markets including the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data storage, chemical supply, and other high technology driven industries. These precision instruments are used for detecting contaminants in aerosols, liquids, gas streams and vacuum processing environments.

Offering a comprehensive product line of particle counters enables users to monitor and qualify acceptable levels of contamination within the manufacturing environment. Specific applications include cleanroom monitoring, parenteral sampling of small and large injectable solutions, filter and in-line testing in deionized water and process chemicals, point-of-use monitoring of inert gases and in-situ particle monitoring for semiconductor process tools. In January 1996, Particle Measuring Systems became a member of Spectris plc which is located in the United Kingdom and is a process technology company specializing in electronic controls, process instrumentation and filtration systems.
