  • There are many kinds of white-colored foods in our daily life. However, few people know that some white foods are not so healthy as people think. Some may even cause damage to our body.

    First, white fatty oil
    White fatty oil may be the number one killer in food. Experts pointed out that, if the fat is not liquid, or it can not move at room temperature, it should belong to hard fats. Hard fats should be excluded from the diets, and replaced with a variety of plants oil. Modern medical researches show that hard fats contain a lot of saturated fatty acids, which are not only difficult to digest, but also will cast a layer of adhesive materials on the intestinal wall, and will slowly accumulate in the human blood vessel, leading to gastrointestinal dysfunction and a variety of cardiovascular diseases. Hard fats are mainly contained in meat such as pork, beef and mutton.

    Second, white flour

    Third, white sugar
    In addition to providing sweetness and increasing glucose in human body, white sugar nearly rarely has any nutritional value. Although white sugar can provide energy in a short period, however, soon after that, people will feel more tired than before. Instead, you should eat honey, raw sugar or natural desserts, whose effects are more durable, and more beneficial to the body.

    Fourth, white rice
    Eating too much white rice is the main reason for some diseases. White rice severely lacks of vitamin B1, which will make people easy to suffer from beriberi, with the symptoms such as weakness of the limbs, abnormal feelings of the fingers and toes. What's more, it may also cause the loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, indigestion and other symptoms. If you love to eat rice, you should eat brown rice in stead, so as to get rich and comprehensive nutrition, which is very beneficial to maintain the health.

    Fifth, white spirit
    White spirit is high in alcohol concentration, so drinking excessive white spirit will bring damage to the heart, liver, kidney and nervous system. For example, alcoholic liver cirrhosis is caused by long-term excessive drinking. Alcohol will also cause stimulation on the digestive tract, inducing gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, esophageal cancer and so on. People from most areas in China still love to drink white sprit, which is very harmful to health.
