the examples reported in the literature that were usually partially
thermally driven or UV-triggered,47,50,51 which is recyclable and highly
desirable for the fabrication of various LCE-based 3D structures, such
as artificial muscles, flexible mini-robots or micro-machines.

with fully light-driven controllability and good recyclability is urgently
needed. In this work, the introduction of allyl sulfide based dynamic
covalent crosslinks in the LCE matrix and the well-dispersed filler
SWCNTs with strong photothermal effect endowed our SWCNT/LCE

nm NIR light. Moreover, the monodomain spiral ribbon or stretching
flat strip and the original polydomain composite film can be readily
transformed into each other and reshaped through easily achievable
fabrication conditions. Therefore, the well-prepared SWCNT/LCE
composite films with exchangeable covalent crosslinks showed
highly desirable properties and recyclability for the fabrication of
various soft actuators with multimode NIR photomechanical
actuations, such as potential applications in artificial muscles, flexible
micro-machines and medical services.
