48 In our previous study we observed that, using MeCN,
reactions involving unsubstituted phenol resulted, at the
end of the reaction, in a quantity of red/lilac solid that was
ltered off. Although we were not able to identify it, we
suggested this could be related to some metal phenoxide
species. Such colour was however not observed for the
reactions in i-PrOAc.
