4 | CONCLUSIONS
In this study, DES was used as a safe, green, and effective
solvent for N-arylation of amides with different aryl
halides in the presence of Fe3O4@vitamin B6–Pd(II) as
catalyst. The magnetic catalyst could be easily recovered
and reused owing to its excellent magnetic property. The
recyclability of the catalyst was investigated and it was
observed that these magnetic nanoparticles can be reused
for up to five times with no loss in activity. Furthermore,
magnetic nanoparticles synthesized were characterized
by SEM, TEM, TGA, EDS, ICP, FTIR, VSM, and XRD
methods.
