For the higher O2 concentration at ps100 mbar the
reaction with O2 dominates with 72% and in the self
reaction 28% of formed HCHD were consumed.
Taking into account that formic acid, p-benzo-
quinone and the carbonyls represent final products of
the reaction of O2 with HCHD, the agreement be-
tween the modeling results based on the new recom-
bination rate constant for HCHD 29 and the experi-
mental findings is unsatisfactory, cf. Table 1. The
product studies of the present study at ps13 mbar
indicate a more effective reaction of O2 with HCHD
