A reviewer suggested that we attempt to measure activation
parameters at zero or low concentrations of water to determine
if a shift in mechanism from to PCET could be observed. We
found that zero or very low concentrations of water reduction
proceeded at a rate that was too slow to measure by stopped-
flow.
