allowing cisplatin to enter the mitochondria and cause
mitochondrial damage, ultimately resulting in mitochondrial
apoptosis. As a result, the micelle represented a highly effective
anticancer efficacy with a tumor growth inhibition rate of
84.4% and a survival rate of 85.7% in mice. Therefore, the
dual-targeted and cascade-responsive multifunctional micelles
are envisaged to be a promising nanocarrier for mitochondrial
therapy of malignant tumors.
