thickness indicates that the rGO sheets exist in the form
of less layers after modification.

The electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) of rGO
and TDTA/rGO are shown in Figure 10. After ultra-
sonicating, 2.5 μL of 1 mg/mL rGO or TDTA/rGO DMF
solution was dropped onto the surface of GCE and dried
for 12 h at room temperature. The semi-circle portion at
higher frequencies corresponds to the electron transfer
limited process and the linear portion at lower frequen-
cies corresponds to the diffusion process. By fitting data,
the electron charge-transfer resistance (Rct) values of
rGO and TDTA/rGO are 275.7 and 220.7 Ω, respec-
tively, a decrease after modification, indicating an in-
crease of conductivity.

tionalization approach. FTIR, H NMR and C NMR
analyses show that the TDTA is successfully synthesized.
XRD confirms that GO is successfully reduced into rGO.
UV-Vis, XPS and TEM reveal that TDTA molecules are
successfully attached onto graphene sheets by π-π
stacking. And the TDTA/rGO composite has improve
greatly the dispersity of rGO in DMF. The UV-Vis ab-
sorption spectrum of TDTA/rGO composite indicates
that it is a good UV-absorber.
