The cell populations observed by flow cytometry studies of the
induction of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (ROS/RNS)
and superoxide at A2780 cells. 24 h incubation was used in all
the experiments. See Tables S10–S12 for the complete results

membrane depolarization or cytochrome c release into the
cytosol) involved in mechanisms of their cytotoxic actions. We 13 P. Štarha, Z. Trávníček, R. Herchel, P. Jewula and Z. Dvořák,
assume that obtained data are not limited only to the
prepared Ta(V) complex but may be expanded to other
suitably derived complexes of this type. In addition, follow-up
detailed studies are warranted, since Ta(V) complexes bring a
new challenge for bioinorganic and medicinal chemists
working in the field of anticancer therapy.
