Synthesis of [(MoO2)2(slsch)(DMF)2]·2CH3OH: To a solution of
H4slsch (0.175 g, 0.5 mmol) in methanol (10 mL), a molybdenyl acet-
ylacetonate (0.326 g, 1 mmol) solution in methanol (15 mL) was added
dropwise with constant stirring and heated for 20 min, till a light yel-
low colored solution appeared. The reaction mixture was allowed to
cool to room temperature and the solvents were evaporated under
vacuum using a rotavapor to obtain the desired complex. The single
light yellow crystals suitable for X-ray analysis were obtained by a
slow evaporation of their acetonitrile/ dimethylformamide solution
(2:1, v/v), in air at room temperature. C26H36N6O12Mo2: calcd. C
