Perfluorobenzene Safety Profile

Mildly toxic by inhalation. Dangerous fire hazard when exposed to heat, flame, or oxidizers. Forms extremely heat-sensitive explosive complexes with metals (e.g., chromium, vanadium, and other transition metals). When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of F. See also Fluorides.
Hazard Note: Highly Flammable
Hazard Codes: IrritantXi, FlammableF
Risk Statements:
R11 Highly flammable.
R36/37/38 Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.
Safety Statements:
S16 Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
S26 In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
S33 Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
S37/39 Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection.
Attention:
1. Storage: Keep away from sources of ignition. Store in a cool, dry place. Store in a tightly closed container.
2. Handling: Avoid breathing dust, vapor, mist, or gas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid ingestion and inhalation.Use spark-proof tools and explosion proof equipment.
