Following is the molecular structure of Perfluoro-n-heptane (335-57-9):

Perfluoroheptane Uses

Aplications of Perfluoro-n-heptane (335-57-9): Fluorocarbons are hydrocarbon compounds in which fluorine replaces all or some hydrogen atoms and often contains other elements such as bromine, chlorine. Fluorocarbons are inert liquid or gas which are nonflammable, heat-stable, dielectric and virtually non-toxic. It is used as propellants, refrigerants, solvents, air conditioning, lubricants, insulating forms, heat transfer fluids, metal casting, semiconductor industry, fire fighting and in making plastics and resins. Hexadecafluoroheptane is used as a fluoro-tags solvent for separation and purification technique. It is used for the fluoroorganic synthesis and as a heat transfer agent.
