Platinum oxide (PtO) Specification

The Platinum oxide (PtO), with the CAS registry number 12035-82-4, is also known as Platinum monoxide. Its EINECS number is 234-831-7. It belongs to the product category of Inorganics. It can be prepared by grounding spongy platinum via bubbling O2 and heated to 150 °C (temperature should not exceed 560 °C).
