• Description: Dimenhydrinate (16.1.2) is a complex compound of N, N-dimethyl (2- diphenylmethoxy)ethylamine—diphenhydramine with 8-chlorotheophylline. While blocking the H1 receptor, dimenhydrinate simultaneously acts on the vomiting center.
