It may be employed as solvent for the synthesis of copolymer of starch grafted with polystyrene (starch-g-PS) and environmentally friendly cellulose films. 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium Acetate is ionic liquid; used in method for efficiently extracting high purity gutta percha gum based on two-phase ionic liquid and organic solvent.
