Pronase Specification

The Pronase, with the CAS registry number 9036-06-0, is also known as S. griseus protease. Its EINECS registry number is 232-966-6. What's more, this chemical's classification codes are Drug / Therapeutic Agent; Natural Product. Pronase is a commercially available mixture of proteinases isolated from the extracellular fluid of Streptomyces griseus. Activity extends to both denatured and native proteins leading to complete or nearly complete digestion into individual amino acids. The product should be sealed and stored in dry and well-ventilated place at the temperature of -20 °C.

Uses of Pronase: it can be used in biochemical research. This chemical has strong reactions of protein hydrolysis which can hydrolysis fibrin and sticky protein. This product is only used for scientific research.
