Pyridat Uses

Fenpyrate (CAS NO.55512-33-9) is selective postemergence herbicide. Stems and leaves absorbed quickly and it impede the Hill reaction of photosynthesis, so that leaves turn yellow and stop the growth of weeds, withering death. Applies to wheat, rice, corn and other cereal crops Control in broad-leaved weeds, particularly Galium aparine, Amaranthus retroflexus and some undergraduate weeds.

Pyridat Production

It derived from 6-chloro-3-phenyl-pyridazine-4-Alcohol and S-octyl thio-carbonyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine with benzene as the solvent
