Uses of Silane,dichloromethyl(1-methylethyl)-: it can be used to produce 2,4,8,10-tetra-tert-butyl-6-methyl-6-(2-propyl)-dibenzo[d,g][1,3,6,2]dioxathiasilocin at temperature of 82 °C. This reaction will need reagent triethylamine and solvent toluene with reaction time of 72 hours. The yield is about 45%.
