The Promazine hydrochloride is an active pharmaceutical ingredient. It is soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, chloroform, but insoluble in benzene and ether. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NO_x, SO_x, and HCl. This product is harmful if swallowed. It may cause sensitization by skin contact. If you want to contact this product, you must wear suitable protective clothing.
