Production method of this chemical: The Hydrazine,1-phenyl-1-(phenylmethyl)- could be obtained by the reactants of chloromethyl-benzene and phenylhydrazine. This reaction needs the reagents of aq. NaOH, tetrabutylammonium chloride. The yield is 71 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 0.5 hour at the temperature of 60 °C.
Uses of this chemical: The Hydrazine,1-phenyl-1-(phenylmethyl)- could react with cyanoacetic acid, and obtain the cyanoacetic N-benzyl-N-phenylhydrazide. This reaction needs the reagent of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, and the solvent of tetrahydrofuran. The yield is 96 %.
