Uses
Eucalyptus oil can be used as a pharmaceutical, antiseptic, repellent, flavouring, fragrance and other industrial uses.
Medicinal and antiseptic:It can relieve the symptoms of influenza and colds.because of the antibacterial effects on pathogenic bacteria in the respiratory tract.
Repellent and biopesticide:used as an insect repellent and biopesticide.
Flavouring and Fragrance
Industrial,Eucalyptus oil can be used in mining to separate metallic sulphides via flotation.
Production
China produces about 70percent of the world trade, but most of this is derived from camphor oil fractions rather than being true eucalyptus oil.Significant producers of true eucalyptus oil is South Africa, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Australia, Chile and Swaziland.

Safety Profile
A human poison by ingestion. Moderately toxic by skin contact. Human systemic effects by ingestion: ciliary eye spasms, nausea or vomiting, respiratory depression, somnolence, sweating. A skin irritant. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes. See also
