1014-69-3 Usage

Description

DESMETRYN, also known as Desmetryne, is a synthetic chemical compound belonging to the family of acetanilide herbicides. It is characterized by its effectiveness in controlling certain types of weeds and its selective action on specific plants. DESMETRYN works by inhibiting the growth of target weeds, particularly through interference with their photosynthetic processes.

Uses

Used in Agricultural Industry:
DESMETRYN is used as an herbicide for the treatment of crops and vegetables. It is specifically effective in controlling white goosefoot, a common weed that can compete with crops for resources and reduce agricultural yields. Additionally, DESMETRYN is also used to manage other types of weeds and grasses that may interfere with the growth and development of desired plants in agricultural settings. By targeting these unwanted plants, DESMETRYN helps to improve crop health, increase yield, and reduce the need for manual weeding or other labor-intensive control methods.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1014-69-3 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,0,1 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1014-69:
(6*1)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*4)+(2*6)+(1*9)=43
43 % 10 = 3
So 1014-69-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Palladium-Catalyzed Thiomethylation via a Three-Component Cross-Coupling Strategy

Wang, Ming,Qiao, Zongjun,Zhao, Jiaoyan,Jiang, Xuefeng

supporting information, p. 6193 - 6197 (2018/09/25)

In this report, the combination of masked inorganic sulfur and dimethyl carbonate was designed to achieve thiomethylated cross coupling of aryl chlorides. Remarkably, this powerful strategy realized thiomethylation of nucleosides bearing unprotected ribose, chloride-containing pharmaceuticals with late-stage coupling, and herbicides possessing multiple heteroatoms and steric hindrance. Moreover, this protocol is practically amenable to multigram-scale synthesis with a lower catalysis loading and a higher yield.

Plant-protective and pest-control agent

-

, (2008/06/13)

A herbicidal composition capable of preventing weed growth of potatoes or soybean plants consists of a triazene or an aromatic nitro compound together with an inorganic salt, especially sodium bisulfate or potassium bisulfate which reduced the quantity of the organic herbicide below that usually required to obtain a corresponding herbicidal effect and hence prevents phytotoxic damage. The composition contains 0.1:1 to 15:1 parts by weight of the inorganic compound to the organic compound and is applied in an amount of 0.1 to 30 kg of the composition per hectare.
