Dimethylphosphinothioylthioarylation of Vinyl Butyl Ether

On the basis of anionarylation reaction a method for preparing dithiophosphoric acid derivatives, 1-butoxy-2-arylethyl O,O-dimethyl phosphorodithioates was developed. The reaction of aryldiazonium tetra-fluoroborates with vinyl butyl ether in the presence of O,O-dimethyl phosphorodithioate anion is a new example of a noncatalyzed reaction of diazonium salts with alkenes in the presence of foreign nucleophiles. A mechanism of such reactions is proposed.
