Usage

General Description

K-strophanthin, also known as strophanthin, is a cardiac glycoside derived from the seeds of the plant Strophanthus gratus. It is used in traditional medicine to treat heart conditions such as heart failure, and is also being studied for its potential anti-cancer properties. K-strophanthin works by inhibiting the sodium-potassium pump in heart muscle cells, leading to an increase in the force of contractions and helping to improve the efficiency of the heart.
