Novel nickel(II) complexes for the catalytic copolymerization of ethylene and carbon monoxide: Polyketone synthesis in supercritical carbon dioxide

, p. 3894 - 3896 (2007/10/03)
The most effective nickel catalysts for the copolymerization of ethylene and carbon monoxide, to give polyketones, known to date are based on enaminone ligands. With a perfluorinated side chain these complexes (see, for example, 1) are soluble in supercritical carbon dioxide and catalyze the formation of polyketones in this medium.
