Usage

General Description

3,5-Difluorotoluene is a chemical compound that consists of a toluene molecule with two fluorine atoms attached at the 3 and 5 positions on the benzene ring. It is a colorless liquid with a strong odor and is primarily used as an intermediate in the production of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other organic compounds. 3,5-Difluorotoluene is also used as a solvent and in the manufacture of dyes, resins, and other chemicals. It is flammable and may release toxic fumes when heated, but it is not considered to be highly toxic to humans or the environment.
