It exhibits unique color changes when mixed with different acids and bases, such as turning blackish green in strong sulfuric acid, light blue in diluted sulfuric acid, yellow brown in nitric acid, and sky blue in sodium hydroxide solution. Its aqueous solution appears blue.Uses
