Usage

Description

Direct Yellow 106 is a red light yellow to orange yellow powder that is soluble in water, producing a deep yellow color. It is slightly sensitive to changes in color shade when exposed to copper ions and turns a dark colored light yellow when exposed to iron ions. It has resistance to various compounds and does not affect its application performance.

Uses

Used in Textile Industry:
Direct Yellow 106 is used as a dye for cotton, viscose, and their blended fabrics. It is not used for printing.
Used in Polyester/Cotton Blended Fabric Dyeing:
Direct Yellow 106 can be used with dispersal dyes for bath dyeing of polyester/cotton blended fabrics.
