PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel glucose derivative taken into a cell via a membrane transport system of sugar, an imaging agent and an imaging method of a cell or an intracellular molecule which use the glucose derivative, a method of accurately detecting a cancer cell which uses the glucose derivative and an imaging agent used for the method. SOLUTION: There are provided a D-glucose derivative and an L-glucose derivative in which glucose is bonded to a 7-site of a fluorescent molecular group having a coumarin skeleton or a quinoline skeleton. Furthermore, there are provided a cell imaging agent and a cell imaging method using the derivative.
