General Description
3-(2-Methoxypyridin-3-yl)acrylic acid is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C9H9NO3. It is a derivative of acrylic acid, with a pyridine ring substituted with a methoxy group at the 2-position. 3-(2-METHOXYPYRIDIN-3-YL)ACRYLIC ACID is often used in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical research as a building block for the construction of more complex molecules. It may also have potential applications in the development of new drugs or materials due to its unique structure and reactivity. Additionally, it is important to handle this chemical compound with care, as it may have potential health and environmental hazards.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 131674-41-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,1,6,7 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 131674-41:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*1)+(5*6)+(4*7)+(3*4)+(2*4)+(1*1)=114
114 % 10 = 4
So 131674-41-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

supporting information, p. 419 - 434 (2014/01/17)
This manuscript describes the preparation of new small molecule inhibitors of Bacillus anthracis lethal factor. Our starting point was the symmetrical, bis-quinolinyl compound 1 (NSC 12155). Optimization of one half of this molecule led to new LF inhibitors that were desymmetrized to afford more drug-like compounds.
