Description
Vat Orange 4 is a red light orange dye with an orange powder form. It is soluble in 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene and xylene, with the latter producing a yellow solution and a green fluorescence. When treated with strong sulfuric acid, it turns blue and forms an orange precipitate upon dilution. Alkaline reduction results in a leuco purple color, while acid reduction yields an orange leuco. It is used for cotton fabric dyeing, providing a red-orange hue and good direct dyeing properties. It is also suitable for discharge printing and dyeing, as well as silk dyeing.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1324-33-0 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,3,2 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1324-33:
(6*1)+(5*3)+(4*2)+(3*4)+(2*3)+(1*3)=50
50 % 10 = 0
So 1324-33-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
