PURPOSE: A transition metal compound or a catalyst compound including the same is provided to manufacture the compound economically and easily using a simple synthetic method, and to have a good thermal stability of catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A transition metal compound is represented by the chemical formula 1. The transition metal compound for manufacturing ethylene homopolymer or copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin is comprises the transition metal compound, an aluminum compound co-catalyst, a boron compound co-catalyst, or a mixture thoseof. A manufacturing method of the ethylene homopolymer or copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin includes the use of the transition metal catalyst composition.
