General Description

1,2-Ethanediamine, N-(triphenylmethyl)-N'-[2-[(triphenylmethyl)amino]ethyl]- is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C38H42N2. It consists of two amine groups and a triphenylmethyl group, and is used in organic chemistry as a reagent for the selective protection of the amino group of amino acids. It is also used in the synthesis of various pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds. This chemical is a white to light yellow crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 526.76 g/mol and is soluble in organic solvents such as methanol and ethanol.
