Usage

Description

BrettPhos Pd G3 is a third-generation (G3) Buchwald precatalyst, known for its air, moisture, and thermal stability. It is highly soluble in a wide range of common organic solvents and has a long life in solutions. This precatalyst is an excellent reagent for Buchwald-Hartwig cross-coupling reactions, offering unique features such as lower catalyst loadings, shorter reaction times, efficient formation of the active catalytic species, and accurate control of the ligand: palladium ratio.

Uses

Used in Chemical Synthesis:
BrettPhos Pd G3 is used as a catalyst for C-N coupling reactions between monosubstituted ureas and 1,2 dihaloaromatic systems to form benzimidazolones.
Used in the Synthesis of Specific Compounds:
1. In the synthesis of [Pd(cinnamyl)(BrettPhos)]OTf, BrettPhos Pd G3 is used as a catalyst for the reaction with [(cinnamyl)PdCl]2 and AgOTf.
2. In the synthesis of [Pd(crotyl)(BrettPhos)]OTf, BrettPhos Pd G3 is used as a catalyst for the reaction with [(crotyl)PdCl]2 and AgOTf.
