Description
1,3-Dioxolo[4,5-g]isoquinoline,5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-, hydrochloride (1:1), also known as TDIQ (hydrochloride), is an analytical reference standard classified as a phenylalkylamine. It is structurally related to amphetamines but does not significantly impact locomotor activity. TDIQ is a partial agonist of α2A-, α2B-, and α2C-adrenergic receptors, with Kis values of 75, 95, and 65 nM, respectively. It has low affinity for dopamine or serotonin receptors and does not affect catecholamine release in rodent brain synaptosomes. TDIQ is used for forensic and research purposes.
Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Synthesis:
1,3-Dioxolo[4,5-g]isoquinoline,5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-, hydrochloride (1:1) is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of (+/-)-β-Hydrastine (H675690), an inhibitor of dopamine biosynthesis.
Used in Research and Development:
In the field of neuroscience and pharmacology, TDIQ (hydrochloride) is used as a research compound to study its interactions with adrenergic receptors and its potential effects on anxiety and appetite in rodent models. It serves as a discriminative stimulus, generalizing to substances like cocaine and partially to 3,4-MDMA and methcathinone, but not to amphetamine.
Used in Forensic Analysis:
TDIQ (hydrochloride) is utilized in forensic analysis to identify and analyze substances related to its chemical structure, particularly in cases involving the examination of drugs and their metabolites.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 15052-05-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,5,0,5 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 15052-05:
(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*0)+(4*5)+(3*2)+(2*0)+(1*5)=68
68 % 10 = 8
So 15052-05-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
