Description
Thalidezine is an isoquinoline alkaloid belonging to the bisbenzylisoquinoline type, derived from Thalictrum fendleri Engelm. This alkaloid forms colorless crystals when extracted with Me2CO and exhibits an optical rotation of [α]25D + 236° (CHCl3). Its ultraviolet spectrum has a single absorption maximum at 283 mJ.1. The D-methyl ether of Thalidezine is identical to Hernandezine, while the D-ethyl ether forms colorless crystals with a melting point of 117-120°C.
Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
Thalidezine is used as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. Its unique chemical structure and properties make it a promising candidate for developing novel drugs to combat these conditions.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 18251-36-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,8,2,5 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 18251-36:
(7*1)+(6*8)+(5*2)+(4*5)+(3*1)+(2*3)+(1*6)=100
100 % 10 = 0
So 18251-36-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
