Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 23566-61-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,3,5,6 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 23566-61:
(7*2)+(6*3)+(5*5)+(4*6)+(3*6)+(2*6)+(1*1)=112
112 % 10 = 2
So 23566-61-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

An improved synthesis of 2-, 3-, and 4-trifluoromethylcyclohexylamines on a multigram scale via PtO2-mediated hydrogenation of the corresponding trifluoromethylanilines in trifluoroacetic acid at room temperature under atmospheric pressure is reported. The hydrogenation occurred with a remarkable stereoselectivity favoring the formation of cis-isomers. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart New York.
