General Description

4,5-dihydro-2-heptadecyl-1H-imidazole-1-ethylamine is a chemical compound with a long hydrocarbon chain and an imidazole ring structure. It is also known by its trade name, "D-Abz-Et". 4,5-dihydro-2-heptadecyl-1H-imidazole-1-ethylamine is often used as a surfactant, emulsifier, or lubricant additive due to its ability to lower the surface tension of liquids and increase their wetting properties. Additionally, it is utilized in personal care products and cosmetics as an emollient and conditioning agent for the skin and hair. As a biologically active compound, it has also shown potential as an antimicrobial agent and has been studied for its potential pharmaceutical applications.
