1.The chemical properties of teh O-silylurethanes obtained from aminoalcohols were studied. They are much more stable thermally than the corresponding N-alkyl derivatives. 2.When N-trimethylsilyl-N-ethyl-O-trimethylsilyl carbamate reacts with acid chlorides, the N-trimethylsilyl and the N-trimethylsiloxycarbonyl groups are substituted simultaneously. 3.N,N'-bis-ethylcarbodiimide can be synthesized using O-silylurethanes.
