Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 34253-01-5 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,4,2,5 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 34253-01:
(7*3)+(6*4)+(5*2)+(4*5)+(3*3)+(2*0)+(1*1)=85
85 % 10 = 5
So 34253-01-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A series of 3-arylquinolones was prepared and evaluated for their ability to act as gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonists. A variety of substitution patterns of the 3-aryl substituent are described. The 3,4,5-trimethylphenyl substituent (23h) was found to be optimal. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
