Description
N,N'-bis(9,10-dihydro-9,10-dioxo-1-anthryl)isophthaldiamide is a brilliant yellow compound that is soluble in o-chlorophenol, the difficulties, four hydrogenated naphthalene, and xylene. It is slightly soluble in acetone, benzene, chloroform (hot), pyridine, and toluene (hot), but not soluble in alcohol. It exhibits color reactions with strong sulfuric acid (yellow), in insurance powder (purplish red), and in acid (yellow light brown). It shares the same chemical structure as C.I. reduction yellow 26.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
N,N'-bis(9,10-dihydro-9,10-dioxo-1-anthryl)isophthaldiamide is used as a dye in the textile industry for coloring polyester/cotton blends (67:33). It provides excellent ironing fastness, light fastness, perspiration fastness, and washing fastness, with ISO ratings of 5 for all categories. It also demonstrates resistance to fading and staining, making it a suitable choice for various textile applications.
